Who will take care of my cat? Documenting your future wishes
Come along and learn from our special guest speaker, Ruth Pollard, Director Legal and Professional Services, NSW Trustee & Guardian, about what you can do now to have your wishes met in the future – including making provisions for your cats in the event you can no longer care for them yourself.
Most people find planning ahead legal documents complex and confusing. Very few people understand Wills, Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship. For cat owners, knowing our feline friends will be cared for in the event we can’t care for them is a vital consideration in future planning. It doesn’t have to be daunting … but if you care about your future and your cat’s future, it does have to done.
Cat Protection CEO Kristina Vesk will explain the importance of keeping your cat’s “file” so that they’ll be well looked after, whether it’s during a temporary emergency or for the rest of their lives.
You will hear case studies, have the opportunity to ask questions and be given free information to take home with you.
