You’ll be counting yourself lucky to learn from such a great master and it won’t be long before Bruce becomes the big boss in your home. Light on his paws and always eager for attention, Bruce will soon be stepping up and starting his first lesson with you. There is much to learn in the all-important round-the-house explore, then Bruce will be kicking back, claiming a spot on the couch next to you. Once he’s sniffed all the important spots around the house and appraised your aptitude for pats, his next challenge for you will be the forward roll incorporating a flop at your feet. This maneuver is often performed to elicit affection, and Bruce will be assessing the suitability of your strokes and scratches before going for the advanced belly rub position for a true test of trust. Once you’ve passed this test, you will have achieved full heart melt and a beautiful unbreakable bond with Bruce will be set. Bruce is a firm believer that a good teacher is not someone who gives you the answers but someone who guides you with many meows. This chatty kitty will be rather vocal in his lessons and will often repeat important messages to make sure you’ve understood, in particular the empty bowl example is one he often returns to. While he may be strict with some of his teachings, this furry master strongly rewards his devoted pupils and Bruce’s special blend of purrs, chirps and playful energy will keep your spirits soaring. With all his wisdom to share, Bruce tends to get a little bored when left alone and would love to have a dedicated student by his side most of the time.
