creating your own fundraising activity or event
You can create your own fundraising activity or event to raise funds for Cat Protection! It could be a trivia night, a garage sale, movie night or ‘Whisk For Whiskers’ morning or afternoon tea or any other cat themed idea you like.
Once you have your idea, all you need to do then is print and read through our Guide To Fundraising and complete our Fundraising Application Form and send your application through to email@example.com.
As a charity, Cat Protection must approve and authorise all third party fundraising activities that raise money on our behalf. We require you to complete a Fundraising Application Form before undertaking any fundraising activities. More information is included in the Guide To Fundraising.
Once your activity or event is approved, we will send you a Community Fundraising Toolkit which will include:
- A Fundraising Sanction Letter which gives you permission to fundraise on our behalf
- A Receipt Template
- Budget / Income and Expenditure Template
- Fundraising Tips and Hints
- Fundraising Posters
Please note that if you are fundraising online through a fundraising website like Everyday Hero, your sanction is handled by the online fundraising website.
When you receive approval and your toolkit you can begin fundraising!
