Ninners & Shinobi – a tale of affection, mischief, horror and happiness
I adopted Ninners in 2009 when she was a shy little thing.
Always so affectionate! Nothing has changed except her big fat tummy!
Then in 2012, I adopted Shinobi! A cheeky ginger boy.
“Do you need some help with this?” Shinobi is ever so willing to help!
Ninners & Shinobi soon became good friends and enjoy such pastimes as synchronised napping:
Attempted holiday prevention:
and of course, helping Mum out with her music work:
In November last year, my worst nightmare came true when Shinobi jumped off my first floor balcony and ran away. I tried tirelessly to find him but it would seem that he was gone forever. Then, some months later, a miracle! Late one night I get a picture SMS of a “FOUND” poster with a message saying “I have your LOST poster on my fridge and have just seen this FOUND poster. I think it is your cat”. Sure enough, it was!!! It turns out Shinobi was only 450m away at someone else’s house! He had been missing for over 12 weeks!!
Ninners and Shinobi (and a relieved Mum) were all quickly reunited and resumed as if nothing had happened at all!
Thank you CPS for all the wonderful work you do. You are good people.
Lots of love,
Regina, Ninners & Shinobi
