Help for cat owners
Cat Protection is pleased to announce the introduction of Flea & Worm Fridays and the return of Cheap as Chips Wednesdays.
By law in NSW, all cats 12 weeks and older must be microchipped. Once your cat is chipped, you can register your cat with your local council and gain peace of mind that if lost, your cat can be returned to you.
Every Wednesday between 12 noon and 2pm, an authorised microchip implanter will be available at Cat Protection to chip your cat for just $30 and $15 for pension-card holders. No appointment needed but for their safety, please make sure your cat is in a secure pet carrier.
If you’d like help keeping your cat parasite-free, Flea & Worm Fridays are here!
Every Friday between 12 noon and 2pm, one of our experienced feline attendants will be available to administer your cat vet-quality flea and/or worm treatment (Advocate, Advantage, Drontal). No appointment needed but for their safety, please make sure your cat is in a secure pet carrier.
For cat owners unsure of correct administration techniques, this is a great opportunity to learn first-hand how to tablet your cat and how to apply spot-on treatments to your cat.
With discounts for pension-card holders, Flea & Worm Fridays give people on a tight budget an affordable way to keep their cats parasite-free. Flea treatments last one month and worm treatment is effective for three months.
Flea & worm combo $20 ($15 pension-card holders)
Flea-only treatment $15 ($10 pension-card holders)
Worm-only treatment $10 ($7 pension-card holders)
