Peggy is the purr-fect best friend
Hello. Today marks the two year anniversary of my adoption Peggy (formerly known as Leeloo) from Cat Protection Society, and I wanted to let you know that she is doing great.
Since I adopted her, we have moved to a sunny, quiet apartment in Melbourne, and Peg loves spending her
mornings lying in the sun on the balcony, keeping a close eye on all the birds that fly past (she hasn’t caught one yet – thankfully – but she’s ready.) She has also recently decided that she likes being picked up and cuddled by the kitchen window so she can watch the birds and get a belly rub at the same time.
Peggy was so shy and timid when I first bought her home, but she has really come out of her shell, and is quite the little bossy boots when it’s just the two of us at home, but she is always polite and friendly to guests when they come over, and even her vet has complimented her on her friendly temperament. Even my family, who aren’t really cat people, love her.
I’m very proud of her.
Thank you, Cat Protection, for giving me the opportunity to meet and adopt Peggy, who is the best friend I could have ever hoped for.
